October 3, 2025: San Mateo, CA 94401 Terra Nova Tigers (Pacifica, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Terra Nova improves its record to 5-9 on the season. The Tigers host Carlmont (Belmont, CA) to face the Scots in a test on Monday, October 6. The Scots go into the test with a record of 5-1. Carlmont won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Aragon (San Mateo, CA)
Next, the Bearcats meet the Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA) in a challenge, on Monday, October 6. San Mateo will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Sequoia (Redwood City, CA).
