New York High School Soccer - Albany knocks off Albany Academy for Boys
October 3, 2025: Albany, NY 12203 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Albany Falcons (Albany, NY) and the visiting Albany Academy for Boys Cadets (Albany, NY), saw Albany's soccer squad prevail over Albany Academy for Boys by a count of 6-2.
The Falcons (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Schenectady (Schenectady, NY). The Patriots come into the non-league match with a 3-8 record. In their last match, Schenectady by Colonie Central (Albany, NY), 3-2, in a non-league match.
The Cadets now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Schalmont for a Colonial Council match on Tuesday, October 7. Albany Academy for Boys will confront a Sabres squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Averill Park (Averill Park, NY). The Sabres record now stands at 9-2.
