October 3, 2025: Erdenheim, PA 19038 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Springfield Township Spartans (Erdenheim, PA) and the visiting Great Valley Patriots (Malvern, PA), saw Springfield Township's soccer squad knock off Great Valley by a count of 3-1.
The Spartans (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lower Moreland (Huntingdon Valley, PA). The Lions enter the non-league battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Lower Moreland tipped Cheltenham (Wyncote, PA), 1-0, in a league battle.
The Patriots now sport a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coatesville for a non-league match on Tuesday, October 7.
