October 3, 2025: Baker, LA 70714 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Academy of Our Lady Penguins (Marrero, LA) and the host Central Private Redhawks (Baker, LA), observed Academy of Our Lady's volleyball team top Central Private by a count of 2-0.
The Penguins (20-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hahnville (Boutte, LA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Hahnville was knocked off by South Lafourche (Galliano, LA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Redhawks now own a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lafayette Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. Central Private will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Rayne (Rayne, LA). The Knights record now stands at 12-9.
