October 3, 2025: Union, KY 41091 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Greenwood Gators (Bowling Green, KY) and the host Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY), observed Greenwood's volleyball team top Cooper by a count of 2-0.
The Gators (18-9) will now prepare for their contest against Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 21-1 record. In their last contest, Lexington Catholic notched a victory over Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Jaguars now own a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newport Central Catholic for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 7. Cooper will encounter a Thoroughbreds squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY). The Thoroughbreds record now stands at 13-15.
