October 3, 2025: Methuen, MA 01844 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Lawrence Lancers (Lawrence, MA) and the host Notre Dame Cristo Rey Panthers (Methuen, MA), observed Lawrence's volleyball team top Notre Dame Cristo Rey by a count of 3-0.
The Lancers (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against North Andover (North Andover, MA). The Scarlet Knights enter the Merrimack Valley II contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, North Andover dropped by Lynnfield (Lynnfield, MA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
The Panthers now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Excel Academy Charter for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 7. Notre Dame Cristo Rey will meet a Wolves team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Salem Academy Charter (Salem, MA). The Wolves record now stands at 6-4.
