October 3, 2025: New Ulm, MN 56073 New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds (New Ulm, MN) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting United Christian Academy Eagles (Bloomington, MN), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, New Ulm Cathedral improves its record to 9-8 on the season. The Greyhounds host Jackson County Central (Jackson, MN) to meet the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 3. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Jackson County Central won 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Fairmont (Fairmont, MN)
Next, the Eagles meet the Eastview Lightning (Apple Valley, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 3. United Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record. The Lightning go into the test with a 8-11 record after their 3-1 league loss to Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN).
