North Carolina High School Volleyball - Salem Christian School crushed by University Christian

The University Christian Barracudas prevailed the visiting Salem Christian School Defenders volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Friday's league game.

Next up, the Barracudas confront the North Hills Christian Eagles (Salisbury, NC) in a NCISAA Foothills Athletic bout, on Monday, October 6. University Christian will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Hickory Christian Academy (Hickory, NC).

The Defenders (6-8) will now prepare for their match against Statesville Christian (Statesville, NC). The Lions enter the NCISAA Foothills Athletic match with a 11-6 record. In their last match, Statesville Christian was outscored by Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy (Mooresville, NC), 3-1, in a non-league match.
