West Virginia High School Soccer - Princeton nudges South Charleston
October 4, 2021: Princeton, WV 24740 Princeton Tigers (Princeton, WV) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV), 3-2 in a league challenge.
Next, the Tigers confront the Shady Spring Tigers (Shady Spring, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 5. Princeton will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Pocahontas County (Dunmore, WV).
The Black Eagles now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Parkersburg for a Mountain State challenge on Tuesday, October 5. South Charleston will confront a Big Reds team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Morgantown (Morgantown, WV). The Big Reds record now stands at 7-10.
