North Carolina High School Soccer - Queen's Grant knocks off Carolina International

Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC), 9-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Stallions confront the Bradford Prep Bears (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 5. Queen's Grant will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC).

The Comets now possess a 0-10 record. They take the field next when they host Piedmont Community Charter for a Metro Eight 1A challenge on Thursday, October 6. Carolina International will confront a Patriots team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 3-7.
