The Montgomery Central Timberwolves volleyball team (Troy, NC), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC)

The Panthers (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC). The Grizzlies enter the Mid-Piedmont 3A challenge with a 10-8 record. In their last challenge, Oak Grove defeated North Davidson (Lexington, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Timberwolves meet the Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A challenge, on Thursday, October 6. Montgomery Central will attempt to move on its 6-11 season record.
