October 4, 2022: Loganton, PA 17747 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA) and the host Sugar Valley Rural Phoenix (Loganton, PA), saw Shamokin Area's volleyball squad beat Sugar Valley Rural by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Shamokin Area upgrades its record to 7-4 on the year. The Indians travel to Midd-West (Middleburg, PA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 6. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Midd-West lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against South Williamsport (South Williamsport, PA)
The Phoenix now own a 0-3 record.
