The Vikings (18-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC). The Cardinals enter the non-league challenge with a 12-4 record. In their last challenge, Jacksonville defeated Havelock (Havelock, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Patriots encounter the Swansboro Pirates (Swansboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 5. West Carteret will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 14-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Richlands (Richlands, NC).
