October 4, 2023: Englewood, CO 80113 Englewood Pirates (Englewood, CO) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Lake County Panthers (Leadville, CO), 3-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Pirates confront the Bruce Randolph Grizzlies (Denver, CO) in a 3A/2A Frontier challenge, on Wednesday, October 11. Englewood will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 5-1 league loss to KIPP Denver Collegiate (Denver, CO).
The Panthers now have a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arvada for a 3A/2A Frontier challenge on Friday, October 6. Lake County will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Sheridan (Denver, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-10.
