The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Mainland Regional Mustangs (Linwood, NJ) and the host Cedar Creek Pirates (Egg Harbor City, NJ), saw Mainland Regional's volleyball squad beat Cedar Creek by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Mainland Regional upgrades its record to 8-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Our Lady of Mercy Academy (Newfield, NJ) to play the Villagers in a non-league bout on Friday, October 6. The Villagers go into the bout with a record of 9-1. Our Lady of Mercy Academy won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Middle Township (Cape May Court House, NJ)
