The Newfield Wolverines volleyball team (Selden, NY), went down 3-0 in Wednesday's league challenge with the visiting Centereach Cougars (Centereach, NY)

The Cougars (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against West Babylon (West Babylon, NY). The Eagles come into the Section 11 AA-2 challenge with a 3-0 record.

Next, the Wolverines encounter the Smithtown East Bulls (Smithtown, NY) in a Section 11 AA-2 challenge, on Friday, October 6. Newfield will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record.
