Mayflower Eagles (Mayflower, AR) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Little Rock Southwest Gryphons (Little Rock, AR), 3-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Harmony Grove Cardinals (Benton, AR) in a 3A Central match, on Thursday, October 5. Mayflower will attempt to advance on its 15-8 season record. The Cardinals come into the match with a 7-11 record after their 3-2 league loss to Jessieville (Jessieville, AR).

With the loss, Little Rock Southwest drops to 1-13 on the campaign. The Gryphons host Bryant (Bryant, AR) to battle the Hornets in a 6A Central match on Thursday, October 5.
