Virginia High School Volleyball - Vance Charter can't hold off Mecklenburg County

In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Mecklenburg County Phoenix volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Vance Charter Knights.

The Phoenix (13-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA). The Chargers come into the non-league battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Lunenburg Central was edged by Buckingham (Buckingham, VA), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Knights clash with the Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions (Durham, NC) in a Triangle North 1A battle, on Thursday, October 5.
