October 4, 2024: Albia, IA 52531 The Albia Blue Demons football squad scored 41 points and limited the visiting Davis County Mustangs to 7 in the Blue Demons league triumph on Friday.
The Blue Demons now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Burlington for a 2A District 5 test on Friday, October 11. Albia will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 34-13 league win over Central Lee (Donnellson, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 5-1.
With the defeat, Davis County drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA) to meet the Bulldogs in a 2A District 5 test on Friday, October 11. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 2-4. Mediapolis lost 24-8 in their recent league test against Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA)
