Maryland High School Football - Centennial can't hold off Atholton
October 4, 2024: Columbia, MD 21044 Atholton Raiders (Columbia, MD) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Centennial Eagles (Ellicott City, MD), 2-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Atholton advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Raiders host Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD) to play the Scorpions in a Howard County battle on Thursday, October 10. The Scorpions go into the battle with a record of 5-0. Oakland Mills won 20-8 in their recent league battle against Glenelg (Glenelg, MD)
The Eagles now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Hebron for a Howard County battle on Thursday, October 10. Centennial will play a Vikings team coming off a 21-7 non-league win over Severn Run (Severn, MD). The Vikings record now stands at 2-3.
