The Brookesmith Mustangs football squad scored 51 points and limited the visiting Olfen Mustangs to 0 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Richland Springs for a 1A 6 Man 2 Region IV District 15 (6 Man) test on Friday, October 11. Brookesmith will meet a Coyotes squad coming off a 48-0 non-league win over Giddings Lonestar Southeast (Giddings, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 6-0.
With the defeat, Olfen drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Blackwell (Blackwell, TX) to meet the Hornets in a 1A 6 Man 2 Region II District 6 (6 Man) test on Friday, October 11. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 1-5. Blackwell won 61-0 in their recent non-league test against Panther Creek (Valera, TX)
