The Washington Rams football squad scored 21 points and limited the visiting Copper Canyon Aztecs to 20 in the Rams league win on Friday.

With the win, Washington improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Rams travel to Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ) to play the Skyhawks in a 4A Copper Sky battle on Friday, October 11. The Skyhawks go into the battle with a record of 6-0. Deer Valley won 42-8 in their recent league battle against Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ)

The Aztecs now have a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Maryvale for a 4A Copper Sky battle on Friday, October 18. Copper Canyon will play a Panthers team coming off a 41-6 league loss to Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 1-5.
