October 4, 2024: Oxon Hill, MD 20745 Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders (Greenbelt, MD) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Oxon Hill Clippers (Oxon Hill, MD), 28-18 in a league battle.
With the win, Eleanor Roosevelt advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Raiders host Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD) to play the Mustangs in a Prince George's County 4A/3A battle on Friday, October 11. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 0-5. Bladensburg lost 50-0 in their recent league battle against Bowie (Bowie, MD)
The Clippers now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to High Point for a Prince George's County 4A/3A battle on Friday, October 11. Oxon Hill will play a Eagles team coming off a 70-0 league loss to Parkdale (Riverdale, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
