The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Gaston Bulldogs (Gadsden, AL) and the host Section Lions (Section, AL), witnessed Gaston's football squad topple Section by a tally of 42-28.

The Bulldogs (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pleasant Valley (Jacksonville, AL). The Raiders enter the 2A Region 7 contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Pleasant Valley thwarted Cedar Bluff (Cedar Bluff, AL), 20-19, in a league contest.
