October 4, 2024: Glastonbury, CT 06033 The Glastonbury Guardians football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Manchester Red Hawks to 25 in the Guardians league triumph on Friday.
The Guardians now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southington for a Central Connecticut - Tier 1 test on Friday, October 18. Glastonbury will meet a Blue Knights squad coming off a 28-25 league loss to New Britain (New Britain, CT). The Blue Knights record now stands at 1-3.
With the defeat, Manchester drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Red hawks travel to Hartford Public (Hartford, CT) to meet the Owls in a non-league test on Thursday, October 17. The Owls come into the test with a record of 2-2. Hartford Public won 53-18 in their recent non-league test against Bassick (Bridgeport, CT)
