Oregon High School Football - Junction City thwarted by Marist
October 4, 2024: Junction City, OR 97448 Marist Spartans (Eugene, OR) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Junction City Tigers (Junction City, OR), 49-28 in a league battle.
With the win, Marist improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Spartans host Sweet Home (Sweet Home, OR) to play the Huskies in a 4A Special District 3 battle on Friday, October 11. The Huskies go into the battle with a record of 3-2. Sweet Home lost 37-0 in their recent league battle against Philomath (Philomath, OR)
The Tigers now have a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Cascade for a 4A Special District 3 battle on Friday, October 11. Junction City will play a Cougars team coming off a 24-16 league win over Stayton (Stayton, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 5-0.
