October 4, 2024: Greensburg, KS 67504 The Kiowa County Mavericks football squad scored 62 points and limited the visiting Udall Eagles to 12 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mavericks now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oxford for a South Central Border (8 Man) test on Friday, October 11. Kiowa County will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 54-8 league win over Skyline (Pratt, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-1.
With the defeat, Udall drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host South Central (Coldwater, KS) to meet the Timberwolves in a Southern Plains-Iroquois (8 Man) test on Friday, October 11. The Timberwolves come into the test with a record of 5-0. South Central won 80-0 in their recent non-league test against Independent (Wichita, KS)
