Illinois High School Football - Rockford Christian can't hold off Lutheran
October 4, 2024: Rockford, IL 61114 Lutheran Crusaders (Rockford, IL) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Rockford Christian Royal Lions (Rockford, IL), 2-0 in a league outing.
The Crusaders now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Boone for a Big Northern outing on Friday, October 11. Lutheran will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 35-14 league win over Rock Falls (Rock Falls, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 3-3.
With the defeat, Rockford Christian drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Royal lions travel to North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL) to clash with the Vikings in a Big Northern outing on Friday, October 18. The Vikings come into the outing with a record of 3-3.
