October 4, 2024: Walhalla, ND 58282 North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] Eagles (Walhalla, ND) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] Cougars (Rolla, ND), 54-38 in a league battle.
With the win, North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] improves its record to 7-0 on the season. The Eagles host Cavalier (Cavalier, ND) to play the Tornadoes in a 9-Man Region 4 (9 Man) battle on Friday, October 11. The Tornadoes go into the battle with a record of 5-2. Cavalier won 60-0 in their recent league battle against Midway/Minto (Inkster, ND)
The Cougars now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. John for a 9-Man Region 4 (9 Man) battle on Friday, October 11. North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] will play a Woodchucks team coming off a 42-40 league win over North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] (Cando, ND). The Woodchucks record now stands at 2-5.
