The Union Farmers football team (Union, NJ), was crushed 49-7 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Ridge Red Devil (Basking Ridge, NJ)

With the win, Ridge advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Red Devil travel to Hunterdon Central (Flemington, NJ) to encounter the Red Devils in a Big Central - American Silver bout on Thursday, October 10. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Hunterdon Central won 28-8 in their recent non-league bout against East Brunswick (East Brunswick, NJ)

The Farmers now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to South Brunswick for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 10. Union will encounter a Vikings team coming off a 33-0 non-league loss to Watchung Hills Regional (Warren, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 3-3.
