California High School Volleyball - Magnolia Science Academy over Avalon

In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Magnolia Science Academy Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Avalon Lancers.

The Pirates (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Magnolia Science Academy 5 (Reseda, CA). The Lobos enter the non-league challenge with a 0-9 record. In their last challenge, Magnolia Science Academy 5 was beaten by Bert Corona Charter (Pacoima, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lancers meet the Liberty Christian Minutemen (Huntington Beach, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 5. Avalon will attempt to upgrade on its 13-13 season record. The Minutemen enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Calvary Chapel (Downey, CA).
