California High School Volleyball - Sunrise Mountain tips Bishop's

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs (Peoria, AZ) and the host Bishop's Knights (La Jolla, CA), observed Sunrise Mountain's volleyball team hold off Bishop's by a count of 2-1.

The Mustangs (19-4) will now prepare for their contest against Jesuit (Portland, OR). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 14-0 record. In their last contest, Jesuit got by Aloha (Beaverton, OR), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Knights battle the Oviedo Lions (Oviedo, FL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 5. Bishop's will attempt to move on its 15-7 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 13-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Lyman (Longwood, FL).
