The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish (Kankakee, IL) and the visiting Marian Central Catholic Hurricanes (Woodstock, IL), witnessed Bishop McNamara's football squad wallop Marian Central Catholic by a tally of 49-14.

The Fightin' Irish (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL). The Warriors enter the Chicagoland Christian contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Wheaton Academy was crushed by Chicago Hope Academy (Chicago, IL), 28-21, in a league bout.

The Hurricanes now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Christ the King for a Chicagoland Christian bout on Friday, October 10. Marian Central Catholic will encounter a Gladiators team coming off a 26-0 league loss to Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL). The Gladiators record now stands at 1-5.
