In Saturday's non-league game, the Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL) football team triumphed over the host Walther Christian Academy Broncos (Melrose Park, IL), by a tally of 48-0.

In their next game, the Knights face the Ridgeview/Lexington Mustangs (Colfax, IL) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 10. Fieldcrest will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 6-0 record after their 17-0 non-league win over Warrensburg-Latham (Warrensburg, IL).
