New York High School Football - West Hempstead tops Lawrence
October 4, 2025: West Hempstead, NY 11552 The West Hempstead Rams football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Lawrence Golden Tornadoes to 12 in the Rams league triumph on Saturday.
The Rams now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Plainedge for a Section 8 Conference IV challenge on Saturday, October 11. West Hempstead will face a Red Devils team coming off a 45-35 non-league win over Lynbrook (Lynbrook, NY). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-0.
The Golden Tornadoes (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Oyster Bay (Oyster Bay, NY). The Baymen enter the Section 8 Conference IV challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Oyster Bay lost by Carle Place (Carle Place, NY), 36-16, in a league challenge.
