Illinois High School Football - Plainfield South can't hold off Yorkville
October 4, 2025: Plainfield, IL 60544 The Yorkville Foxes got by the host Plainfield South Cougars football squad by a margin of 6-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Foxes now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host West Aurora for a non-league test on Monday, October 6. Yorkville will face a Blackhawks team coming off a 14-14 non-league Glenbard East (Lombard, IL). The Blackhawks record now stands at 1-5.
The Cougars (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL). The Wildcats go into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Plainfield Central was edged by Minooka (Minooka, IL), 48-0, in a non-league challenge.
