October 4, 2025: Darien, IL 60561 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) and the host Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL), saw St. Laurence's soccer squad knock off Hinsdale South by a score of 5-3.
The Vikings (13-2) will now prepare for their battle against De La Salle (Chicago, IL). The Meteors come into the Chicago Catholic test with a 16-2 record. In their last test, De La Salle tipped Rock Island (Rock Island, IL), 5-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Hornets confront the Addison Trail Blazers (Addison, IL) in a West Suburban - Gold outing, on Tuesday, October 7. Hinsdale South will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Blazers enter the outing with a 6-6 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL).
