Ohio High School Soccer - Lexington toppled by Lake Catholic
October 4, 2025: Mentor, OH 44060 The Lake Catholic Cougars smashed the visiting Lexington Minutemen soccer squad by a score of 7-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 10-1 record. They play next when they host Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin for a North Coast Conference bout on Tuesday, October 7. Lake Catholic will play a Lions squad coming off a 8-1 non-league win over Grand River Academy (Austinburg, OH). The Lions record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, Lexington moves to 6-6 on the year. The Minutemen host Wooster (Wooster, OH) to play the Generals in a Ohio Cardinal bout on Tuesday, October 7. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Wooster won 4-0 in their recent non-league game against Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH)
