California High School Volleyball - Albany over Novato
October 4, 2025: Albany, CA 94706 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Albany Cougars (Albany, CA) and the visiting Novato Hornets (Novato, CA), observed Albany's volleyball team top Novato by a count of 2-0.
The Cougars (13-9) will now prepare for their battle against Mission San Jose (Fremont, CA). The Warriors go into the non-league battle with a 12-6 record. In their last battle, Mission San Jose dropped by Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA), 3-1, in a league battle.
The Hornets now own a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oakland Tech for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. Novato will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Oakland (Oakland, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-5.
