California High School Volleyball - Sierra Canyon tips Archbishop Mitty

October 4, 2025: San Jose, CA 95129

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Sierra Canyon Trailblazers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Archbishop Mitty Monarchs.

The Trailblazers (33-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Marymount (Los Angeles, CA). The Sailors enter the Mission challenge with a 33-4 record. In their last challenge, Marymount got by Bishop Alemany (Mission Hills, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Monarchs meet the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA) in a West Catholic test, on Tuesday, October 7. Archbishop Mitty will attempt to improve on its 21-3 season record. The Fightin' Irish go into the test with a 13-8 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Christian Brothers (Sacramento, CA).
