The Bald Eagle Area Eagles volleyball squad (Wingate, PA), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Southern Lehigh Spartans (Center Valley, PA)

With the win, Southern Lehigh improves its record to 12-0 on the season. The Spartans host Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA) to encounter the Crusaders in a Colonial battle on Monday, October 6. The Crusaders go into the battle with a record of 11-7. Notre Dame-Green Pond won 3-1 in their recent league battle against Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA)

The Eagles now own a 19-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Meadville for a non-league contest on Saturday, October 4. Bald Eagle Area will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 league win over General McLane (Edinboro, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-4.
