October 4, 2025: Beaverton, OR 97005 South Eugene Axe (Eugene, OR) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Beaverton Beavers (Beaverton, OR), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, South Eugene advances its record to 14-1 on the season. The Axe travel to Sunset (Portland, OR) to face the Apollos in a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. The Apollos go into the test with a record of 8-9. Sunset won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Aloha (Beaverton, OR)
With the loss, Beaverton drops to 6-11 on the campaign. The Beavers travel to Mountainside (Beaverton, OR) to play the Mavericks in a 6A Metro outing on Thursday, October 9. The Mavericks come into the outing with a record of 10-5. Mountainside lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Jesuit (Portland, OR)
