October 4, 2025: Arco, ID 83213 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Butte County Pirates (Arco, ID) and the visiting Sugar-Salem Diggers (Sugar City, ID), saw Butte County's volleyball squad achieve victory over Sugar-Salem by a score of 2-0.
With the win, Butte County improves its record to 18-2 on the season. The Pirates host Firth (Firth, ID) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league test on Thursday, October 9. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 14-6. Firth won 3-2 in their recent league test against North Fremont (Ashton, ID)
The Diggers now own a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Teton for a 4A Mountain Rivers challenge on Thursday, October 9. Sugar-Salem will meet a Timberwolves team coming off a 3-0 league loss to South Fremont (St. Anthony, ID). The Timberwolves record now stands at 2-16.
