With the win, St. Joseph Christian improves its record to 13-6 on the season. The Lions travel to Jefferson County North (Winchester, KS) to encounter the Chargers in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. The Chargers go into the battle with a record of 23-1. Jefferson County North won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, KS)
The Mustangs now own a 15-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Axtell for a Twin Valley contest on Monday, October 6. Doniphan West will battle a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Maranatha Christian Academy (Shawnee, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 16-10.
