Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Mt. St. Joseph Academy can't hold off Downingtown East

In Saturday's non-league match, the Downingtown East Cougars (Exton, PA) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Mt. St. Joseph Academy Magic (Flourtown, PA), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Downingtown West Whippets (Downingtown, PA) in a Ches-Mont bout, on Tuesday, October 7. Downingtown East will attempt to better on its 15-4 season record. The Whippets come into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Bayard Rustin (West Chester, PA).

With the loss, Mt. St. Joseph Academy drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Magic travel to Gwynedd Mercy Academy (Gwynedd Valley, PA) to clash with the Monarchs in a Catholic Academies match on Thursday, October 9. The Monarchs enter the match with a record of 12-5.
