Illinois High School Volleyball - East St. Louis can't hold off Richland County
October 4, 2025: East St. Louis, IL 62205 The Richland County Tigers tipped the host East St. Louis Flyers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Paris Tigers (Paris, IL) in a Little Illini game, on Tuesday, October 7. Richland County will attempt to better on its 4-14 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 16-8 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Chrisman (Chrisman, IL).
With the loss, East St. Louis drops to 2-16 on the campaign. The Flyers host Alton (Alton, IL) to clash with the Redbirds in a Southwestern bout on Tuesday, October 7. The Redbirds come into the bout with a record of 8-18. Alton won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Hazelwood East (St. Louis, MO)
