In Saturday's non-league match, the Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Hammond Central Wolves (Hammond, IN), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Thunderbirds battle the Thornton Fractional North Meteors (Calumet City, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 4. Thornwood will attempt to move on its 15-12 season record.
