Hayden Wildcats (Topeka, KS) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Junction City/St. Xavier Bluejays (Junction City, KS), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats (20-6) will now prepare for their test against Emporia (Emporia, KS). The Spartans go into the Centennial test with a 13-8 record. In their last test, Emporia gained a win over Ottawa (Ottawa, KS), 3-2, in a non-league test.

The Bluejays now sport a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Olathe East for a non-league test on Saturday, October 11.
