Minnesota High School Volleyball - Hills-Beaver Creek edged by Montevideo
October 4, 2025: Montevideo, MN 56265 Montevideo Thunderhawks (Montevideo, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball team hold off the visiting Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots (Hills, MN), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Thunderhawks (2-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Marshall (Marshall, MN). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 17-2 record. In their last test, Marshall nudged Mayer Lutheran (Mayer, MN), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now own a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westbrook-Walnut Grove for a Red Rock test on Tuesday, October 7. Hills-Beaver Creek will face a Chargers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to MACCRAY (Clara City, MN). The Chargers record now stands at 15-9.
