Virginia High School Volleyball - Magna Vista can't hold off Lord Botetourt
October 4, 2025: Daleville, VA 24083 In Saturday's non-league bout, the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA) volleyball team held off the visiting Magna Vista Warriors (Ridgeway, VA), by a margin of 2-1.
The Cavaliers now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Northside for a Blue Ridge bout on Tuesday, October 7. Lord Botetourt will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-12.
With the loss, Magna Vista falls to 8-7 on the year. The Warriors travel to Martinsville (Martinsville, VA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Monday, October 6. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 2-9. Martinsville lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Glenvar (Salem, VA)
